You can find us at many plant fairs and open gardens throughout the year, many of which we have listed below.  All the venues and the visiting specialist nurseries are carefully selected, so please support these events.

Great Dixter Spring Plant Fair

Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th April, Northiam

£16 entry to fair and garden, (Free to friends and annual ticket holders). Tickets are on sale on the gate – no advanced booking.

Please help us support the Dixter Plant Fairs as they raise money towards their fantastic horticultural bursary scheme. There’s always an excellent range of plants across an impressive cohort of specialist nurseries. If we weren’t there selling, we would be there buying! We love to support Dixter as our favourite garden and as the institution that has done most to empower young gardeners. The next generation of top gardeners is in good hands.

Spring Fling at Great Comp Garden

Sunday 14th April – 10am – 5pm. £10.00 Adult, FREE to Great Comp Garden annual pass holders. Pre-purchase ‘fast track’ tickets online, or pay at the gate.

Their annual spring plant fair will feature specialist and award-winning nurseries keen to showcase the wealth and range of plants available.  Join us for great plants and great atmosphere at the home of Dyson’s Salvias.

Arundel Castle Gardens

Spring Plant Fair & Tulip Festival, Sunday 21st April.  £5 plant fair only, extra for the castle and gardens.

The imposing medieval castle is the backdrop for our fantastic fair on the lower lawns. In spring, why not wander up to see the tulip festival throughout the grounds and the spectacular walled garden. Also, re-join us for our autumn fair and catch the productive garden and exotic borders at their peak. Refreshments at the castle restaurant.

Brand new to the Plant Fairs Roadshow in 2024 – one of Surrey’s most treasured gardens to visit!

Ramster Garden is famous for its stunning spring colour, with over 25 acres of peaceful woodland, views of lakes and hillsides, filled with colour and interest. It is renowned for its magnificent displays of rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias, many rare and unusual trees and flowering shrubs and outstanding colour during Spring and Autumn. ​

Hampshire Plant Heritage Group’s Grand Plant Fair​, Longstock Park Nursery, Waitrose Leckford Estate

Late Spring Plant Fair, Bank Holiday Monday 6th May.  Entry £5/person | John Lewis/Waitrose Partners (staff) £2/person | Plant Heritage members free admission

The Plant Heritage Plant Fair on the Leckford Estate is attended by many growers and plant nurseries, giving you the opportunity to browse a variety of plants and talk to plant specialists while raising money to support the work of Plant Heritage.  All set in the stunning grounds of Longstock Park near Stockbridge.

In addition to the Plant Fair, Longstock Park nursery will be stocking a full range of seasonal plants and all your gardening sundries, and our specialist Partners are always on hand with lots of advice and tips on how to grow great plants and maintain a beautiful garden space.

This event is hosted to support the work of Plant Heritage in helping to conserve our national plant collections.

Borde Hill Gardens, Haywards Heath

Spring Plant Fair, Sunday 12th May 10am – 3pm.  £12 entry for gardens & plant fair (£11 if booked online, at least 24 hours in advance)

We are looking forward to seeing you again for our visit to this beautiful garden, botanically rich for over 125 years. After enjoying the fair and the views from the lawns, stroll through the extensive garden, past mature parkland trees and the regular sculpture exhibitions. Cafés in the grounds.

RHS Chelsea Flower Show, London

Tuesday 21st –Saturday 25th May 2024

After our successful Silver Award winning first outing to RHS Chelsea in 2023, we’re thrilled to be one of seven specialist nurseries with the Plant Fairs Roadshow to be invited to create displays at the 2024 RHS Chelsea Flower Show.  Come and see, us and meet the team at the Plant Fairs Roadshow stand in the Floral Marquee.  Plants and seeds for sale.

We love the Sussex Prairie Gardens! Join us at the first of two visits to the Prairies, this, when they have just opened, is well worth a visit as the garden is fresh and bursting with lush greens. Benington Lordship Gardens, nr Stevenage

Hertfordshire Summer Plant Fair, Sunday 9th June, 11am – 4pm. £10 entry

We are so excited for our new Hertfordshire venue of Benington Lordship Gardens!

A great opportunity to explore the gorgeous herbaceous borders that change with the seasons, this historic estate is a visual delight. It’s also a sought-after location for photoshoots, film productions. The formal rose garden, accented with weeping pear trees, tulips, and box hedging, delights the senses.  Enjoy the main borders where you will find a mix of contemporary naturalistic planting alongside the more traditional herbaceous style. The walled kitchen garden offers fruitful wonders, while spring-fed ponds and meadows teem with wildlife.

We are really looking forward to the plant fair at this spectacular new venue!

In 2019, Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens opened its doors after a closure of nine years, this magnificent Grade I listed garden was nearly lost forever and has been the subject of the largest garden restoration in England and possibly Europe. 

These spectacular and ancient gardens are now open for the public to enjoy once again. Many people in the local area have fond memories of their visits and life around these gardens, and the team at Leonardslee aim to protect this magnificent heritage so that future generations get to enjoy the beautiful green spaces and flora and fauna within.

Our successful NGS openings in 2021/22/23, have raised £8,645 for the fantastic NGS charities and £5,447 for three other charities through the sales of tea and cakes!  We hope to run a “pop-up” opening in 2024, dependent on the timing of some site developments.

Join us at this return visit to this exciting venue for our late summer fair: a ‘Kentish beauty’ of a garden! This is one of the best-known gardens in Kent, a worthy winner of Visit Kent’s Garden of the Year award in 2016. Four generations of the Barham family have created a wonderful 16 acre garden in a magical parkland setting. See the exotic border at its peak. Café in the grounds.

Mount Ephraim, nr Faversham

Autumn Plant Fair, Sunday 22nd September. £9 entry to fair & garden; Season Ticket holders free.

We are excited to return to this enchanting ten acre Edwardian garden where terraces of fragrant roses lead to a small lake and water garden, framed by a fabulous Japanese rock garden and bridge. Highlights include the unusual topiary featuring various animals and birds, a grass maze planted with ornamental grasses and herbaceous perennials, the arboretum and an extensive collection of spring bulbs and mature trees.
