GOOD NEWS: our events and plant fairs have RESTARTED, and with a few changes are proving to be a success and above all SAFE. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

You can find us at many plant fairs or open gardens throughout the year.  Come and see us as at one of these events to purchase from us, or contact us in advance to order and collect. 

Exciting news:  some of our events and plant fairs have restarted. 

BOOK YOUR TICKETS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE: some events are using a TIMED ENTRY ticketing system to aid safe social distancing.

Dixter Spring Plant Fair Cancelled

Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th April £10 entry to fair and garden.

Please help us support the Dixter Plant Fairs as they raise money towards their fantastic horticultural bursary scheme.  There’s always an excellent range of plants across an impressive cohort of specialist nurseries including colleagues from across the EU.  If we weren’t there selling, we would be there buying!  We love to support Dixter as our favourite garden and as the institution that has done most to empower young gardeners.  The next generation of top gardeners is in good hands.

Spring Fling at Great Comp Garden Cancelled

Our first of two visits to Great Comp for their always buzzing Spring Fling Plant Fair.  We love the hand picked feel of the selection of nurseries and intimate garden setting.  Excellent onsite Salvia specialist Dyson’s Nurseries.

Arundel Castle Gardens Cancelled

Spring Plant Fair,  Sunday 26th April

£5 fair only, extra £ for tulip festival & castle.

Come and see us at this great venue.  Only in its third year, but surely now one of the largest specialist plant fairs in the South.  The imposing medieval castle is the backdrop for a fantastic fair on the lower lawns.  Also wander up through the tulip festival throughout the grounds and the spectacular walled garden.  Fair refreshments and castle restaurant available.

London Spring Plant Fair, Saturday 16th May

£2 fair only, extra charges for ‘Open Garden Weekend’.

Come and see us at this small but busy & atmospheric event.  Now in its 8th year and so successful, the local community have organised an ‘Open Garden Weekend’ to coincide with the fair.  Café at the Centre.

Myddelton House Gardens, Enfield Cancelled

Specialist Plant Fair,  Sunday 31st May.  £5 entry

We’re looking forward to this new fair.  The venue has great heritage as the famous and historic gardens of E.A.Bowles.  A beautiful 8 acre garden packed with an impressive range of unusual plants.  The garden is also home to a Victorian glasshouse with four climatic zones, a carp lake, conservatory, newly restored Kitchen Garden and meadow areas.

Sussex Prairie Garden, nr Henfield Cancelled

Specialist Plant Fair,  Sunday 7th June, £8 entry. 

We love the Prairie Gardens.  Join us at the first of two visits to the Prairies, this when they have just opened is well worth a visit as the garden is fresh and bursting with lush greens.  Set amongst the extensive plantings of the 8 acre garden, why not join us at a time of the year when the true scale of the garden can be seen.  Teashop in the grounds.

Sussex prairies Plant Fair

One of our favourite fairs of the year.  The scale of the garden with the stalls sprinkled throughout, and the warmth of the atmosphere that Paul and Pauline have created is magical.  Not to be missed.

Autumn Plant Fair, Sunday 13th September

Join us for another visit to this beautiful garden, botanically rich for over 125 years.  After enjoying the fair and the views from the lawns, stroll through the extensive garden, past mature parkland trees and the regular sculpture exhibitions.  Cafes in the grounds.
